Established in 2021 after losing Eddie Hester, Hester's Hope was founded to reduce the day to day stress for people with blood and marrow cancers, their families, and their caregivers. Eddie Hester, Jr. transitioned on February 4, 2021 after a 21 month battle with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Throughout his journey Eddie had hope that provided strength to his family, friends, and medical team. Eddie loved people, and people loved him. He only knew how to love, and in return he was loved by others. Throughout his journey his heart was always with individuals that faced this journey with limited support or resources. Hester’s Hope Foundation was established to bring comfort to others by sharing Eddie’s Hope.
